Private Farm Workshops

All workshops at Slipps Petting Farm are private, hands-on, and guided by Courtney. Each one offers your group a peaceful, personalized experience with time to explore, connect, and learn at your own pace.

Farm Life 101

Get your boots on and step into a real day on the farm!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll experience the rhythm of daily farm life. Help feed animals, collect eggs, refresh bedding, and learn how different animals live and work together. It’s hands-on, active, and perfect for curious families, homeschoolers, or anyone who wants a taste of the farmer life — no experience needed.

Best for: Ages 4+, families, first-time farm visitors

Animal Husbandry

Caring for animals, the Slipps way.

This skill-building workshop dives deeper into the care and wellbeing of farm animals. Learn how to do wellness checks, monitor animal behavior, manage feed routines, and maintain living areas. We'll cover the basics of grooming, hygiene, and safe handling techniques for goats, rabbits, chickens, and more.

Best for: Ages 8+, homeschoolers, farm-curious learners, small groups

Paws & Peace

Mindfulness, nature, and gentle animal moments.

This calming workshop blends simple mindfulness practices with animal cuddles and nature connection. You'll spend time in our quiet cuddle zones, join a peaceful walk through the farm, and enjoy a guided “Coloring with Animals” session — designed to soothe stress and support emotional well-being.

Best for: All ages, sensory-sensitive guests, caregivers, and anyone needing a slow, meaningful reset
